On the 24th of March 2008, the organizing committee of the Mt. Pleasant Sports and Family Day requested the assistance of NEMA Tobago in handling matters relating to Public Safety and Crown Management for its Annual Sports and Family Day.

With the expectations of a large crowd turnout there existed a high risks for many things going wrong and the safety of persons in attendance being threatened, therefore the issue of crowd management was of great importance to managing a successful event.

The NEMA Tobago used its technologies to support the event organizers in maintaining total safety of its patrons for the duration of the day's event. 

The event was a successful one and the agency is proud to have supported this event.
