On Friday 23^rd March 2007, NEMA Tobago was part of an Exhibition hosted by the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Services at the Crown Point, Tobago Office- Celebrating World Meteorology Day.

NEMA’s focus for the day was communication technology and how communication methods work in harmony with the meteorological services for disaster management.

Various schools visited the exhibition, to whom the exhibition was specifically geared. Information was shared appropriate to primary school aged children and the few adults who attended.

The exhibition was housed in the NEMA Tobago Mobile Command Post which was taken to Crown Point, displaying NEMA Tobago’s capacity for Communication in disasters demonstrating the ability to manage and coordinate a unified approach to Disaster Management.
