World Meteorological Day- April 2008
Members of the Meteorological Services worldwide celebrated World Meteorological Day on April 11th, 2008 reminding the world of the importance for humans to live daily with a consciousness to preserve the environment.
In keeping with this awareness and celebration, the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Services- Tobago, hosted its annual display Open House by inviting the following agencies to showcase their products and services at its Crown Point Station: NEMA Tobago, the Trinidad and Tobago Civil Aviation Authority, Water and Sewage Authority and The Department of Natural Resources and the Environment.
Over sixty (60) students along with working adults, took time to visit the open house and showed some acceptance to becoming committed to preserving our environment. The exercise was a success and NEMA Tobago is proud to have participated in this exercise.
